My name is Anna Fragassi, and I am a senior at the University of Cincinnati pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering. I have been exposed to manufacturing through internships in Process Engineering roles at Givaudan Flavors, Process Engineering at Texas Instruments, Quality Engineering at Crane CP&E, and Manufacturing Engineering at Crane CP&E. At Givaudan, I was assigned several different projects ranging from data validation to equipment replacements. At Texas Instruments, I was again given a number of projects with topics such as ion implant beam tuning, metrology tool qualification, and usage reduction of photolithography resist. At Crane, I worked on process control documents in the extrusion molding department, used 3D design software to create lathe jaws, and led a cross-functional team for a department wide improvement project. Since I had numerous projects each internship, I gained experience in general site operations, multi-tasking, project management, and interpersonal skills. While finishing my degree, I am working a part-time job at a local Cincinnati bakery called Marcella's Doughnuts and Bakery. Here I work as a doughnut decorator where my attention to detail and organizational skills allow me to efficiently create beautiful doughnuts. I am currently searching for a full-time position in the manufacturing field after my graduation in May 2025.
