Working in education for almost 7 years, I have developed skills that allow me to help others grow and reach their potential. I have spent years strengthening my ability to think critically, creatively, and collaboratively for the welfare of others. As I transition out of education, I wish continue to help others develop and grow in their chosen careers. As an English language educator, I have experience in facilitating knowledge transfer and providing small group and one-on-one coaching to help clients develop skill mastery. My role allowed me to collaborate with other educators every day to work towards common goals. I value open and productive communication in the workplace that is based in trusting relationships and a supportive company climate. As Team Lead, I managed a team of six educators to ensure all program paperwork was maintained and in compliance with state and federal laws. I facilitated communication from the building manager as well as the program director to ensure my team had access to available resources and met upcoming deadlines. My role as Team Lead also involved bringing team concerns to our supervisor and advocate for necessary changes to boost our productivity.
