I am responsible for the management and strategy of our Affiliate Partnerships Managers at Reward Gateway. We take responsibility for the delivery of our global SmartSpending™ product - delighting our 4 million customers with exclusive savings from hundreds of their favourite retailers.This involves building strong relationships with retail partners in the affiliate industry, negotiating the best deals possible, identifying opportunities and maximizing growth and revenue with new and existing affiliate partners.As a Team Manager I also ensure the team displays best practice, I set and oversee progress of individual OKRs, track and report KPIs and take ownership of our targets.

As a Senior Retail Partnerships Specialist I owned end-to-end processes including building and maintaining strong relationships with key affiliate partners, negotiating paid placements and marketing opportunities and maximising sales and revenue for those partners, identifying new opportunities, as well as taking responsibility for training and mentoring of other team members. I also owned weekly and quarterly team sales targets, I built strategies for meeting those, identifying risks and motivating the rest of the team to meet those.I also oversaw internal enquiries and questions from our client facing teams. This allowed me to identify potential improvements and to act upon these, to create and manage internal online resources and tools to help educate the rest of the business on our Global SmartSpending™ product.

During my time as a Retail Partnerships Assistant I developed my negotiation and partnership skills, ensuring all retail partners on our SmartSpending platform are getting the best visibility and performance possible. I made sure that all offers are kept up to date for both our UK, US, AUS and NZ locales and implemented many new offers providing the best saving to our closed member base. I also worked internally with our client and member facing teams through regular meetings to listen and collect feedback and thus help our clients by creating a better user experience, adding improvements and identifying possible issues.
