𝟏𝟎 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 in Science - Molecular Biology research in the fields of: Genetics, Cancerogenesis, Hematology and Immunopathology, culminating in PhD research on Brain Cells' Communication (did you know there are as many astrocytes—glial cells—as neurons in the brain? They’re called “The second brain” and are crucial for intelligence).𝟒 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 in ML (AI), Python coding and Data Science - I started with the ML basics, learning mathematical approaches, different architectures, and the evolution and applications of models. I’ve built Computer Vision, Tabular Data, Time Series, and Natural Language Processing models.𝟓 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 working on my project, which became a 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐩 𝐢𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟐. I learned Product and Project Management along with UX/UI Design, Marketing, website building, SEO, MVP development, Sales Funnels, CRM systems, lean methodologies, Toyota Kata, pitching to investors, public speaking, and even law and accounting.Beyond hard skills, I learned the value of having a great team. I appreciate different viewpoints, criticism, and emotions—they show we’re engaged. I’ve honed my skills in listening, empathy, and appreciation. I love being a leader, I love my people. The smallest team I’ve led was 6 people, and now it’s 15.So how did I get here? 𝐈𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟔, I wrote a review paper on global problems in Science (check my LinkedIn 'Publications' section), and that’s when my 𝐌𝐈𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍 was born —> to improve the scientific system.Since then, I’ve spoken to hundreds of scientists, exploring different solutions:🧠 Autonomous Laboratory — ideal, but hard to implement without business experience or big funding.🖥️ Laboratory Work Digitization — digital notebooks, automatic assortment management—again, too big.👥 Social Platform for Scientists…🎥 Netflix for Scientists…⚗️ Research Service Marketplace…🤖 Automatic Review — an idea from 2018 inspired by my ML passion. After a few pivots, I returned to this idea with a dream team, and in 2023, we built a beta version of📝 𝐃𝐫𝐏𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐫 — a professional app for writing, formatting, and reviewing scientific articles. We’ve already tested the writing feature with 260 Early Adopters, are launching formatting soon, and reviewing is planned for next year.
