National Institutes of Health HPV FOCAL-DECADE Cohort Extension• Developing and implementing all analyses for FOCAL-DECADE cohort studies, using data from a cohort of approximately 25,000 women who followed for up to 10 years for detection of high-grade precancerous cervical lesions after participation in the FOCAL randomized controlled trial, which compared HPV testing to cytology.

HPV Multi-Ethnic Study (HPV MES) Study Coordinator• Designed and implemented a pilot study conducted in an indigenous community in Guatemala assessing alternative forms of cervical cancer screening and performed the analysis of the data collected from this study using multivariate logistic regression. Developed and implemented a follow-up longitudinal study to assess the acceptability in other rural communities in Guatemala as well as assess if rates of follow-up care increase in these communities after a positive HPV diagnosis and performed comparative analyses.“Modeling HPV-related Head and Neck Cancers” (MHOC)/Cervical Cancers Research Assistant/Tonsil study coordinator/• Assisted with recruiting participants into MHOC study and administering surveys and oral HPV tests to enrolled participants. Attended weekly collaborative meetings and advised the study team on methods for designing new study procedures to collect and test cervical HPV samples when study team implemented additional components of the study including cervical HPV testing as well as the original oral samples. Coordinated and implemented tonsil recruitment portion of study.“Models of Infectious Disease Agent Study” (MIDAS) • Adapted a mathematical model to recreate and expand prior results of an infectious disease transmission model, and then summarized the results of this model to create a poster for presentation at NIH MIDAS conference. Participated in weekly collective research group meetings where expanded model was presented and discussed with collaborators.
