For the past ten years, I have been working in entertainment. My first job was as a volunteer at the local community theatre. I walked in and said, “This is what I want to do, and I want to help you in any way possible.” This lead to my first job as a production assistant at a summer stock theatre. The days were long and tiring, but the work made me happy. Because of this, my attitude remained positive and I was constantly looking for projects that needed to be done that needed to be done. In 2007, I decided to make the transition from theatre to film. So I went to the Savannah College of Art and Design to learn the skills I needed, and I graduated with a Master's Degree in Sound Design in 2010. I am now based in the Los Angeles area and work as a freelance music editor, sound effects and foley editor. My name and credits are seen on a wide range of independent features and shorts, as well as alternative media, such as web series and video games. I was acknowledged for my work and efforts with a nomination at the 2011 Golden Reel for the Verna Fields Award in Sound Design for Student Filmmakers for the short “En Route.” In addition, a lot of my projects are available for purchase on Amazon, local retailers, or can be viewed online at YouTube and iTunes.I love my work, and I love working with filmmakers.
