I started in customer service/retail management from about 2016-2019. I filled multiple roles in my years working retail, starting off as a Sales Associate, working all the way up to Assistant Manager/Store Manager in just about a year or two. I thrived and worked exceptionally well during my time in the retail business. I gained a plethora of important skills that aided me in my journey outside of retail management. In 2019 I started my career in Property Management as a Leasing Agent for a large, off campus affiliated apartment complex. I used my years of experience in customer service to aid me in my new found role and excelled as I learned the ropes of leasing and working within the property management field. After 3 years in my role as Leasing Agent, I quickly learned that I wanted to fully peruse my career in this field. As a Leasing Agent in my current role, I work closely with prospective tenants, many of which are students. I assist from the beginning stages of inquiries and touring all the way though the move in process. Once a tenant, I also will aid in the processing and collection of rental payments and fees, maintenance requests, and assist when it comes to other inquiries and or complaints. I’ve gained and grown my experience with applications, income verifications, leases, addendums, renewals, inspections and most importantly—with all Fair Housing Laws and Regulations. I am a loyal—team player who is open to new opportunities that would help me utilize my skills and grow as a professional. I believe that we are never done learning, no matter how old we get and I am excited to see where my professional connections and experiences get me for the future!
