Operating Room Nurse | June 2012 - August 2015General/trauma surgery, primary team | Otolaryngology surgery, secondary team• Circulating Nurse | advocates for patients’ rights, communicates effectively with OR team, prepares room for each case, provides surgeon with requested equipment• Scrub Nurse | gathers and assembles instrumentation for each case, maintains sterile field throughout procedures• Takes approximately 50 hours of General Surgery on-call per month• Assists management, team leader in updating surgeon preference cards, checking inventory, stocking supplies
