I serve on APCO Worldwide’s public affairs team and support both international and Russian clients from a variety of sectors including FMCG, Transport & Logistics, Healthcare, IT, NGOs and others on their strategic communication initiatives. In my current role, I assists clients in establishing secure environment through development and implementation of strategies addressing the issues and challenges impacting operations in Russia and CIS. This includes inter alia monitoring of current and emerging policies and trends, preliminary assessment of regulatory developments and engagements with industry experts, identifying potential risks, monitoring competitors’ activities, driving agenda to the key stakeholders including government, business and trade associations, influencers, CEOs’ visits support (agenda, briefing books, profiles, logistics), organizing/supporting clients’ events, etc.As a member of APCO's global team working at the USA Pavilion at Expo 2017 Astana, I served as senior director of VIP & sponsor relations of the USAP working on the ground in Kazakhstan throughout the summer 2017. In this role I was responsible for developing and implementing USAP protocol & on-site partner services plan (“Partners” include but are not limited to USAP’s sponsors and partner organizations), and the execution of the events and activities occurring within the VIP area and related Pavilion and Expo areas. My other duties included assisting the US State Department and US Embassy in Kazakhstan to coordinate high-level US government and business delegations to Kazakhstan.
