working as a ship operation manager and freight broker + DPA (Designated Person ashore)- monitoring the vessels/ movements, cargo handling at loading and discharging ports;- bunker arragenments , control of bunker consumption daily bss;- cargo documentations for all vessels. This includes direct contact with charterers, ship agents, ship-chandlers, bunkering suppliers, shippers, receivers, stevedores, etc.;- post-fixture support to the vessels,demurrage calculation;- issuing voyage instructions, making sure that the ships perform as per the charterparty agreements, and to ensure the safe and efficient carriage and delivery of cargoes;- assisting clients with the information about day-to-day operations, keeping the clients duly informed about any progress and developments of the vessel.- managing the daily operations of a freight brokerage, including scheduling and tracking shipments, negotiating with freight carriers and handling customer questions.- prospecting for new clients, analizing market- matching carriers with customers and maintaining positive customer and carrier relations.- Control of freight payments
Appointment and liaison with port agents- Well versed with various types of marine charter party agreements.- settlement claims such as demurrage/deviation/Insurance etc- discussing charter party terms and as a result finalizing charter party agreements.

- Managing all aspects of ship operations (owned fleet), including planning and scheduling of shipping activities, documentations, port and custom clearances;- Liaising with captains and ship masters, ensure documents are in accordance to strict compliance;- Prepare and distribute vessel position reports on a daily basis as required. (entering, clearing, berthing, towing, loading, discharging and bunkering). Keep all interested parties updated as to vessel movements.- Communicate with vessel Masters, agents, customers, and brokers on a daily basis to coordinate operational needs for fleet vessels;- Finalizing voyages quarter period reports;- Preparing Statements of Facts for Shipowners;- Monitoring of the correct generation of cargo documentation for each voyage (bills of lading, discharge orders, invoices, manifests etc.)
