Under the guidance of the Infectious Disease Prevention, Investigation and Care Services Section Chief, provides administrative and programmatic supervision to the COVID-19 Investigation Unit. Develops and implements investigation projects, provides outbreak reports and data sets, and provides investigation oversight and support for emerging infectious diseases data analysis and interpretation. Develops educational and prevention programs to prevent emerging infectious diseases in a variety of settings. Develops policies and procedures related to infectious disease outbreak investigation management and prevention activities to improve the state’s investigation capacity. Supervises state, contracted, and other affiliated staff. Ensures availability to support the Department as needed in the event of a public health emergency.

Support regional public health emergency preparedness in the Upper Valley region through community partnerships. Identify and collaborate with community partners about equity, disparities and how public health can assist during non-emergent and emergent situations. Provide direct oversight in clinical operations during health emergencies or major incidents. Coordinate training, events or exercises as needed with partners and volunteer members. Coordinate seasonal vaccination clinics with community partners both in school and public settings. Attend regular advisory board meetings, working groups, seminars and coordinating meetings for the Upper Valley. Compile work plans and follow grant requirements as outlined.Created and reviewed: Integrated Preparedness Plans (IPP), After Action Reports (AAR), Regional Public Health Emergency Annex (RPHEA) plan for regional responses to public health incidents. Highlights: -Organized and partnered with communities for COVID vaccinations at communities, schools and public settings. -Lead two statewide Booster Blitz initiatives.-Operated 2 months of fixed site COVID vaccination efforts in the Upper Valley.-Lead the 2nd largest Booster Blitz clinic in the state.Town/City in area: Lebanon, Hanover, Piermont, Plainfield, Lyme, Canaan, Enfield, Dorchester, Orange, Grantham, Orford, Grafton.

Onboard, train and organize volunteers with the MRC. Help coordinate meetings and recurring training opportunities for medical and non-medical personnel in support of public health emergencies and non-medical events. Apply and manage grant money. Highlights:-Co-Coordinate the only bi-state MRC in the country with approximately 200 volunteers.-Provide event and incident coordination during public health incidents.

Coordinate efforts for school based vaccination clinics. This includes organizing, preparing and managing an in-school vaccination clinic and its staff.-Coordinate staff schedules, training and direct clinical operations for school based clinics.

Implemented company policy and procedures relating to Defense Security Service (DSS), National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and InformationTechnology policy.
