I am currently completing the Schools Direct programme with Suffolk and Norfolk Secondary SCITT, which will see me obtain QTS in summer 2016.

At St Helena Hospice I am involved with a variety of fundraising projects in both the corporate and community sector. I am currently leading on the Hospice's Wills Month, recruiting participants for our global challenge events, managing our £50 Challenge and attending various networking events to encourage involvement in fundraising for St Helena Hospice.

My role currently involves building relationships with businesses and organisations in and around Suffolk, encouraging engagement with Suffolk Family Carers through a newly implemented discount scheme and also through various fundraising opportunities. I also support individuals and organisations wishing to fundraise for Suffolk Family Carers and I undertake various projects in order to develop community interest in our cause. As well as planning and hosting a range of fundraising and awareness raising events, I also work closely with producers and presenters at BBC Suffolk to explore various ways of engaging with the people of Suffolk.
