I am currently in my fourth year of a Mechanical Engineering PhD in computational fluid dynamics of vascular flows, primarily focusing on characterization of blood flow in patients with pulsatile tinnitus. Specifically, I use dynamical systems and statistical methods to identify spatiotemporal scales and vortex dynamics. At the moment I program in Python, Matlab, and C++, but I have experience with other languages as well.In general I am interested in all types of fluid flow, but particularly those which have an impact on health, safety, and the environment. For example, water resources (hydrology and hydrogeology), wastewater, nuclear, combustion, and health applications. At the moment I am most interested in dynamical systems research (basic and applied) and mesh optimization, and am hoping to continue along this track once I finish my PhD.github.com/anna-lk-haley (some repositories private)
