The full-time internship was based in Amsterdam during 9 weeks. The weekly account research projects focused on researching companies in different sectors in order to understand how the technical solutions can create business value. The research included gathering data on the IT industry and analysis of customers, market intelligence function, go-to-market strategy and operational improvement projects. I worked in teams with interns from a variety of countries. The internship also included activities such as shadowing field account managers, sales- and technical training and other sessions. As a final project we worked with analysing Cisco’s transition from being a hardware company into becoming a more software centric company. Show less
