Anna S. Han is a Senior Securities Algorithmic Trader at Wells Fargo Securities. She shares responsibility for developing quantitative models and implementing them to algorithmically trade spread products such as corporate bonds.Before Joining the team in 2023, Han was an Equity Strategist - Vice President at Wells Fargo Securities. As a member of the equity strategy team, she shared responsibility for establishing the firm’s equity market outlook, which includes the firm’s S&P 500 price target, earnings forecast and sector weightings and recommendations. Han published regular thematic strategy pieces based on fundamental and quantitative analyses, and researched actionable cross-asset investment themes supported by the firm’s fixed income, FX and macroeconomics teams. Based on her research, she advised institutional clients on how to position their portfolios. In 2019, she was one of twelve women on Wall Street selected to participate in Bloomberg New Voices Initiative. Anna was a regular contributor to national and international media outlets.For three years (2014-2017), Han served as an Associate Trader of Equity Derivatives at the firm’s Equity Trading department. Her daily responsibilities included, but were not limited to, managing the Index derivatives portfolio, facilitating institutional and insurance client business, and writing market volatility commentary. Han holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Physics from Yale University; a MicroMasters in Statistics and Data Science from MIT; and, a Master of Science in Applied Data Science from the University of Chicago.
