If at any point in the day queues are too long, or customers begin to appear agitated it was my duty to ensure the team are in their strongest places individually. I also liaise with my team to determine their training, as well as encouraging them to help train new employees.A big part of my role was ensuring stock availability, this involved doing regular small counts throughout the week, and a raw materials count biweekly. This is in addition to the biyearly stock take. By carrying out these counts I can see patterns of where stock may be low next and try to prempt this with emails to our depots to resolve any issues which may arise. Administrative duties are required of me, such as completing rosters each day for the team to follow; inputting the employees holiday requests and and communicating any policy changes to the team, and implementing them. Being the cafes Coffee Corporal my role was to train every new member of staff on how to use the coffee machine, alone with the different styles, cleaning and maintaining the machine.
