I worked as a research assistant at the Gender in Medicine (GiM) institute, a health psychological group that investigates "gender differences in health and disease". I contributed to a project that collects inclusive measures of diversity dimension, assisted with writing press releases about the newly founded diversity and gender equality network and evaluated ongoing open access initiatives at the GiM.

The Learning Enhancement and Academic Development Service (LEADS) is an award-winning student support service at the University of Glasgow. Within LEADS, I am a graduate teaching assistant for the Academic Writing Skills Programme, which entails planning and delivering classes, providing individualized feedback to students' essays, and keeping up with current developments in online learning platforms (such as Moodle).

How do we learn from and care for another? I was a full-time research assistant and helped with collecting data for a study on empathy for other people's pain. During my Bachelor's degree at the University of Konstanz I first joined the group as a research asssistant and was then invited to write my Bachelor thesis on the topic I was conducting research on: psychopathic personality traits in violent offenders. This research involved reading case files and applying various risk-assessment instruments to the presented violent offenders (for example: the FOTRES and the Psychopathy Checklist - Short Version).
