• Lead the development and delivery of an operational strategy • Work with other Leeds CTRU Directors to develop and deliver the CTRU research strategy• Lead the development and delivery of the Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement, and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Strategies• Take a lead role in developing new national and international clinical trials and associated initiatives • Ensure trials are conducted to international quality and legal standards• Leading and managing senior colleagues in day-to-day operations of Leeds CTRU including finance, contracting, quality standards, project delivery, monitoring and training, trial and data management and quality assurance• Interpretation, impact assessment and implementation of national regulatory, funding and research infrastructure challenges and changes• Contribute to the national CRUK, NCRI and UKCRC CTU Networks and other national committees
