My lifelong passion for novel medicine and neuroscience has led me to discover opportunities within the Chemical and Biomedical Engineering field. Such interests are evident in my work ethic and motivation to succeed in my courses as a Master of Engineering (M.Eng) student studying Biomedical Engineering. The courses I have chosen to enroll in in the past several years comprise complex thinking and brainstorming ways to use engineering principles to improve current medical treatments. Through this rigorous coursework, I mastered how to collaborate with peers to effectively present ideas and understand nuances in medicine and engineering. Of the most notable, my Capstone Design Project involved working with senior chemical and electrical engineers to modify the current treatment for Parkinson's Disease, a cause in which I have decided to continue my undergraduate research in.
