I carry out a large variety of tasks in my role as People Team Advisor, these include the usual giving of advice and assistance to managers and employees on People policies, procedures, legislation and personal development. It is also about providing day to day support to managers with all employee relations matters including: grievance, disciplinary and capability investigations and hearingsI spend my time contributing to the continuous improvement of People systems and practices within the organisation including reviewing and creating new policies and procedures and ensuring we keep up with the changes. I enjoy project work in my role such as restructures - large and small, and more day to day projects such as creating staff handbooks. I have Associate membership of the CIPD and am always looking to increase my skills- technical and behavioural.
