I started my food blog Ruokasurffausta http://ruokasurffausta.blogspot.fi/ in July 2013. Very quickly the blog has become one of the most popular food blogs in Finland. Currently the blog has about 70 000 visits each month of which 40 000 are unique. I love storytelling and creating new recipes. Writing and cooking are big passions of mine. Cooking is my creative time. When writing my blog posts I use my SEO knowledge in order to get maximum exposure for the recipes. I write for Blogirinki Media and take part in the designated campaigns. I was working as a team leader in Ina Finland's call centre when I was promoted to another unit and became Unit Manager. The unit I was responsible for was B2C consumer services with over 4 million euro / year business. I had five direct subordinates and 80+ freelancers. The role was very demanding and very complex. I quickly needed to adapt the entire business and did well in doing so. The main business was to market digital products and make the most profit out of them. One of the roles I had was business management. Negotiating with subcontractors, making new deals and develop business further. Another role was marketing. My role was to get the best possible deals and to make sure each campaign was profitable. I started as a regular telesales person. Quickly I was promoted to a team leader position as the call centre grew. I managed over 30 subordinates in a call centre. My role was to be the contact person with the business client and make each case a success story. I planned each case carefully, selected the right people for it and supervised the execution. I did sales training with everybody and helped them along the way. The role was very goal directed. During my last year in England I worked in a big travel call centre. My responsibilities were to answer travel related calls and make sales. I had to adapt new information very quickly and read the customer over the phone in order to get sales done. It was very nice to work within travel industry and I was good at my job. Quickly I was promoted to one of the more advanced teams which had more specific role in sales. My English at the time was so perfect the nobody actually knew I was foreign.
