Most recently I have been employed by GrainCorp as a Grain Merchant. My position with GrainCorp required consistent communication with many growers, along with numerous GrainCorp employees scattered across NSW. Communication skills both written and verbal, equipped me with an ability to build and maintain honest and strong professional relationships with clients and professionals alike.With a back ground in agriculture I studied a Bachelor of Rural Science at UNE. Through this course I gained a solid understanding of scientific and technological concepts, particularly in experimental practicals e.g. chemistry, biochemistry and genetics. The preparation of scientific reports, essays, group activities and oral presentations during my time at UNE enhanced my skills in defining problems and being able to research relevant data. It is a degree with a high level of technical/scientific skill which put me in good stead for my positions as an agronomist in Moree.Through my employment in Moree both as a Grain Merchant and as an Agronomist the key to making my roles successful has been my relationship with growers (clients) and colleagues.
