I am a doctoral researcher at Bielefeld University working on topics related to international economics. I am expected to graduate in summer 2024 and looking for a position that is research oriented and/or data driven.In my research I focus on understanding patterns in international trade of firms and products. Specifically I investigate differences in trade networks across partner countries as well as its resilience to shocks such as economic sanctions or overall political uncertainty.Since 2019 I am affiliated with the Kiel Institute for the World Economy where I conduct policy analysis and provide consultancy for national and international political institutions.I work with large datasets that require a sophisticated level of coding skills in programs such as Python, R and Stata. I also gained first experiences in natural language processing.
