I edit the Book News spread in The Bookseller, the weekly trade publishing magazine. This includes stories about new publishers and lists as well as new and innovative projects that existing publishers are undertaking. I cover trends and anniversary publishing, backlist projects, rejacketings and design, and books with interesting stories behind them. I also write for the magazine's author profile feature, a double page spread profiling an author in advance of their book's publication with recent profiles including Judy Blume, Sloane Crosley, Katherine Rundell and Benjamin Wood. I also edit The Bookseller's consumer-facing sister site, We Love This Book. I commission content including book reviews, author interviews, behind the scenes looks and other literary features for book lovers. I also present our new YouTube channel where we feature author interviews and monthly previews.

I was the sole librarian at a large secondary school and sixth form for just under five years. I ran our reading for pleasure and information literacy schemes that included organising author visits, reading activities, planning and delivering library lessons as well as the day to day managing of the library.
