I am currently working as the Sports Volunteering Programme Organiser for Sheffield University’s Student Union, alongside my undergraduate studies as a final year Geography student.I started my studies at the University of Sheffield in 2021, but had to take a leave of absence due to medical reasons in the Autumn Semester of my second year, in 2022. During this time, I started a job working with 'The Supply Register' as a supply teaching assistant. I was placed on a long-term supply position in a local Sheffield primary school - Rainbow Forge Primary Academy, and during my time here found a passion for helping young people, and strong sense of purpose in my abilities to change lives. Since my return to my degree in Autumn 2023 I have moved to part time work at the University of Sheffield, which I find incredibly fulfilling and exiting. After a year of working as the Community Fundraising Assistant at Sheffield Students' Union, I am moving desks to work on the Sports Volunteering Programme as the lead organiser. I am extremely proud to be working within the Fundraising and Volunteering department in Sheffield Students' Union, and am driven by a passion to help the local community thrive.
