Anna Jane is the founder and CEO of Good Energy, a nonprofit story consultancy for the age of climate change that makes it as easy as possible to portray this crisis on screen in entertaining and artful ways, in any storyline, across every genre. Launched in 2019, Good Energy’s team of climate experts and screenwriters provides the entertainment industry with tools, inspiration, and support to depict the climate crisis in scripted television and film, ensuring the stories we love reflect the world we live in now. With 20 years of experience in climate communications, Anna Jane is driven by a passion for stories and helping people find courage in the face of climate change. She has worked relentlessly to establish bridges between storytellers, artists, musicians, faith communities, Southerners, young audiences, and the climate movement. Working at the intersection of climate and entertainment, she has supported multiple Oscar and Emmy-winning writers, and produced film, music videos, and podcasts. Her efforts to engage evangelicals on climate – including her own father, a prominent pastor – was featured in Years of Living Dangerously, an Emmy-award winning Showtime documentary series. From 2017 - 2021, Anna Jane co-hosted “No Place Like Home,” a podcast that gets to the heart of the climate crisis.
