I have worked as an agency support worker in various healthcare settings, such as a young people’s secure unit, a children’s residential, constant watch in prison and a day-centre and the homes of individuals with learning difficulties. Working with such a vast range of groups has provided me with invaluable experience, such how to de-escalate challenging behaviour, how to interact with individuals with varying needs, and the importance of person-centred care.
