As an undergraduate research assistant at WashU School of Medicine's Neurology Department, I investigated the interaction between immune system activity and traumatic brain injury severity. I began my summer working full-time on data collection, and then spent my fall semester working part-time analyzing the data I collected over the summer in a molecular and behavioral level. My research culminated in a final presentation to the entire lab, where I showed my findings over the previous seven months.

In my role as a Global Workplace Initiatives intern at Disability:IN, I was able to see my research on global disability inclusion metrics for 11 different countries become a part of the organization's Global Directory, which provides information on country-specific legal inclusion guidelines to over 400 of their corporate partners, many of whom are Fortune-500 companies.
