As a fourth-year Policy Studies student at Mount Royal University, a business owner, and an Interior Designer, I am able to use my organizational, research, and analytical skills to assess processes and derive best-fit and clear policy goals.   My work experience in business development and implementation contributed to the long-term growth and success of two incorporated companies, through strategic planning, while being innovative and adaptable to changing conditions. My knowledge of business principles and practices, professional written and oral communication with sequential and clear expression of thoughts and processes, and application of visual aids to present and communicate clearly, allows me to effectively share information and ideas with working groups. Policy area interests: Education, Health, Urban Planning I have transferred these skills to my studies by utilizing policy design processes to collect data, analyzing research and data for relevancy and alignment to policy problems, and providing potential solutions through high quality coursework.  Utilizing my understanding of legislative and regulatory requirements will guide problem-solving for procedural accuracy. Additionally, in my experiences, I have enjoyed collaboration and the sharing of ideas, seeing these opportunities to view issues from a broad range of perspectives, leading to more informed solutions.
