Having worked in both the sales and planning sides of the event world, I have cultivated a broad and unique set of skills and networks that are crucial to the success of any event. I have extensive experience in both corporate and personal events that range from 500+ person, multi-day conferences to rehearsal dinners to Bat Mitzvahs. My experience lies in all steps of event planning from the initial client meeting to on-site, day of facilitation. My role is to source, coordinate and manage all aspects of the event including venue scouting and contracting, hotel block management, talent booking, AV coordination, guest speaker accommodations and any other specifically relevant and unique details required. My eclectic and wide-reaching experience allows for me to find innovative approaches to common types of events. I have planned events internationally, locally, both massive and intimate and have found that the most successful and fulfilling events are done through positive and open client/planner communication. Planning an event can be a major undertaking filled with restless nights, waking up in a cold sweat and nightmares like the one where you show up to school on the first day still in your pajamas…but that all ends here. If we’re working on this together, it’ll be as relaxing as a walk in the park.

I primarily plan and travel on-site to domestic Risk Control Workshops while also assisting on international Board Meetings for a number of captive insurance groups. This entails contracting meeting space and sleeping rooms, organizing outings/off-site events and booking group transportation.

I was responsible for organizing and overseeing all private events and large group dining for The Italian Village Restaurants (The Village, LaCantina and Vivere). My responsibilities included booking the space, solidifying the budget, developing the menu and overseeing the event. I worked closely with the client, floor managers, waitstaff and kitchen staff to ensure that every detail was property executed. While at the Italian Village Restaurants I coordinated a wide array of events from weddings and rehearsal dinners to casual family outings.
