The Aynzer lab is interested in the design of soft-materials for light-harvesting applications. I specifically work on the thermodynamics, phase behavior, and photophysics of conjugated polyelectrolyte complexes. I have extensive experience with optical density and photoluminescence experiments, time-correlated single photon counting and fluorescence lifetime measurements, rheology, and fluorescence microscopy using widefield and confocal microscopes. I also have experience with dynamic light scattering and small angle x-ray scattering techniques.

Worked with Timothy Shelton on synthesizing silicon supported hematite suspended photocatalysts for the oxygen evolution half-reaction of the water splitting reaction.
