I am currently studying a Professional Diploma in Digital Learning Design through the Digital Learning Institute, gaining skills in a variety of digital tools which can be used to create engaging and impactful learning content. I am also working as an ESL teacher with experience in teaching students aged 7+ in Wales, Asia and Europe. Over the years, I have taught a mixture of lesson types from General English and Business English to Exam Preparation and Academic Skills. I'm particularly experienced in B2 and C1 exam prep and delivering academic writing workshops.I've been based in Madrid since 2020, and over the last few years I have been spending my summers in South Wales at UWC Atlantic College working on the English Language Experience and Action (ELEA) summer program. We base our sessions around the UN Sustainable Development Goals, encouraging our participants to think outside the box and become global citizens. Back in 2018/19 I did a Masters degree in Applied Linguistics at Cardiff Uni, which turned me into a bit of a language nerd. To this day, I am still very interested in the relationship between second language acquisition and changes in linguistic identity and I am fascinated by the process of second language acquisition in general.
