During my graduate studies, I was practicing what I was learning and was involved in designing and retrofitting conventional vehicles to electric and solar vehicles.My graduate studies in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Mar Baselios Institute of Technology and Science gave me a wide exposure in the fields like Electric machines, Power Systems, Analog and Digital Communication, Network Theory and Signal processing. In the desire and search for doing something better and useful for the society my final year major project was born. The project was a “RETROFITTED SOLAR CAR”, which gained wide acceptance and publicityand was the best project of the year 2017-18. This project got selected to the semifinal level of SMART INDIA HACKATHON 2018 which is a national level competition for disruptive technology innovations and entrepreneurship to solve the challenges faced in the country. After my graduation, I started working at Super Pressings, Perumbavoor, India as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer from 4th June 2018 to 29th June 2019.This company is a leading manufacturer and supplier of tiller and tractor components. The major responsibilities of mine included planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance, responding to breakdowns and supervising engineering and technical staff. My experience at Super Pressings gave me industrial exposure and developed technical skills.
