I am a reliable and enthusiastic 5th year structural engineering student in Cork Institute of Technology. I am consistently trying to further develop my engineering skills and knowledge in the world around us.My passion for structural engineering was ignited through my participation in my DCG class through the 6 years of my secondary school education. After my partaking in Engineering Your Future Week in CIT in 2016 I gained a further understanding of the skill set and career opportunities of engineers. This gave me an insight into the real lives of people working in STEM and from then on I knew that I want to be part of the STEM sector.
