Throughout this internship, I get to not only make connections with both farmers and employees within the company, but I also get to see all of the aspects within a dealership. While I am mostly in sales, I have also learned how to work in parts and the precision side of things with operation center.

Through this internship, I got more real life experience and more knowledge about the precision agriculture industry. Some of the day to day things I did were soil sampling, tissue sampling, droning fields, and planting plots. I also got to communicate with other farmers and network with our companies and other employees at Crystal Valley. I had to also complete a project during my time at Crystal Valley. One of my projects was looking at nitrogen rates to figure out how much is not enough and is there such thing as applying too much. My other project that I completed was looking at a strip tilled field and figuring out the most accurate way to soil sample.
