About Ak Mitchell

I am a DVM Candidate with a passion for working with people. I love to geek out over feline medicine, spectrum of care, and outreach programs targeted towards the next generation of veterinarians. I am currently serving as the 2024 National President for the Veterinary Business Management Association, and I am also in my final year of study at the Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine, expected to graduate in May 2025. In May of 2021, I graduated summa cum laude from Mississippi State University with a B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
