Federally-funded grant project that was implemented as a community health initiative through a multi-faceted approach and working towards reducing the lives lost to opioid overdose.-Strives to meet and often exceeds the goals related to the objectives of the grant which includes data analysis, administration, community education and outreach, building coalitions, and conducting in-person follow up visits with post opioid overdose patients-Drafted and implemented operational team policies, documents, and forms such as the standard operating guidelines, safety procedures by which the team adheres-Responsible for retrieving data from multiple sources, as well as filtering, tracking, and compilation of that data in relation to opioid overdoses in Beaufort County.
