- Serve as a pastor, community builder, university resource, and administrator for a residence hall of 150 women.- Live in residence hall as primary, full-time Student Affairs professional with regular rotation of on-call responsibilities, including relationship building, event planning, crisis management, hospital accompaniment and conflict resolution.- Supervise four undergraduate student resident assistants, two graduate student assistant rectors, and over twenty student leaders and five student employees serving to meet the hall’s various and evolving needs and programs.- Actively support students navigating difficulties in academics, relationships, illness/ injury, and mental health concerns.- Build an inclusive community through creative programming, pastoral presence and ongoing relationships.- Collaborate with university partners to design and host programs established to enhance students’ personal growth. - Discuss policy violations, determine conduct learning outcomes, and hold students accountable for behavioral choices.- Coordinate the spiritual life of the hall including Sunday and weekday liturgy, the annual hall retreat, individual spiritual direction, interfaith and ecumenical opportunities, and prayer services for differing liturgical seasons.- Connect students to resources depending on their diverse needs, including first generation and low income students.- Complete documentation for incident reports, procedures, students of concern, and annual housing selection.- Oversee and administer the annual fiscal budget of the Hall, totaling over $50,000.- Received the Nancy J. Walsh Irish Clover Award, given by Student Government annually to two members of the Notre Dame community for exemplary service to the student body, and the Presidential Team Irish Award, given by Human Resources to recognize staff teams that exemplify the University’s core values.
