I use my combined experience as a former journalist, PR agency consultant and Communications Manager at various charities to develop and implement tailored communications strategies that resonate with both internal and external key audience groups.My areas of expertise are in strategic communications, internal communications, brand management, employee engagement, reputation management, issues management and media relations. A results-focused communications professional, I am passionate about skills-based volunteering and have served as a Director on the Board of the Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ISPCA). In this role, I leveraged my communications credentials to support and advise the charity on its PR activities.After graduating from Dublin Institute of Technology with a Degree in Communications and Journalism, I spent the first decade of my career in national broadcasting, working in the newsroom at Newstalk. Prior to joining the team at Our Lady's Hospice & Care Services, I worked as Communications Manager at Early Childhood Ireland and as a senior consultant at global PR agencies Drury Porter Novelli and FTI Consulting.
