I am a dedicated and enthusiastic individual with both organizational and communication skills. I have obtained these abilities throughout my past job experiences as a waitress in the service industry and as a student worker at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Love Library. My job as a server shaped the way I interact with people in a professional setting by utilizing my easygoing and personable attitude. This experience also cultivated my problem-solving skills because I was constantly working in a fast-paced environment. My time at Love Library sharpened my organizational skills through the consistent practice of detail-oriented tasks like shelving and managing book requests.Additionally, I have always had a driving passion for helping others, and it has shown through the interactions I have with both past and current coworkers. I strive to be a team player and have a history of working well with others which helps me excel in group settings. I thrive off of these collaborative opportunities because they allow me to appropriately use my strengths.These aforementioned experiences have all shaped me into the hardworking and caring person that I am, and I hope to eventually use this as well as my education to pursue a career where I can make a positive difference.
