Studying Chemical Engineering at Penn State has taught me a lot, ranging from personal and social skills to professional skills, which will serve purposeful throughout my career. I am currently a fourth year student in the College of Engineering, gaining applied knowledge from every one of my classes, and I chose to lead a facilitated study group for first and second year student in Chemistry, so they can succeed in their classes, as I have done.Although I believe knowledge from the classroom is essential for a successful career, the connections I make are even more important. Meeting a diversity of people who have different backgrounds and experience will help me grow as a chemical engineer and as a person.
