Anna Huey is an architect who is guided by the principle that architecture should have a deep connection with its surroundings – both the physical world and the people that inhabit it. Architecture should provide a quiet framework to better experience place and its inherent qualities. And most importantly: architecture is for all people and all budgets. She believes collaboration is vital for successful design, interlacing various perspectives and technical expertise to achieve spaces that are: functional, beautiful, sustainable, and authentic. Outside of work you can find her employing her love of the great outdoors through running, mountain biking, skiing, camping, and hiking with her two dogs, Nelson and Francine. She has recently learned to mig and tig weld, with ambitious plans to craft more home projects.
