• Tasks include approaching customers that enter a Canadian Tire store and get them to sign up for the Canadian Tire MasterCard and possibly get them to add on the optional features such as the protection plan or roadside assistance.• Have to make sure that I have all the proper paper work and make sure that I feel it in properly and then report it at the end of the shift.

• Responsible for packing up bargain books into boxes and moving them, plus moving sections of books from one location to another one within the store.• Had to keep to a tight schedule to finish all the necessary tasks of the day and make up for lost time, when certain tasks weren’t accomplished on time. It was our job to make sure we got back on schedule fast by working hard and quicker.• One day worked as a customer service representative and helped customers locate books they were looking for.• Work on a team to accomplish all the tasks of the day.

• Had direct interaction with the public. Responsible for approaching customers who entered the store, answering customer questions in store and over the phone, finding what the customer is looking for and creating online orders for customers.• Responsible for promoting the I-Rewards Card and any other promotions occurring that day.• My duties also included restocking and shelving the books, tidying up the store at close, making sure the bathrooms were in good order, paging employees or management over the intercom.
