In my role as Programme Director at King’s Health Partners I recruited and led a multidisciplinary team and was responsible for the delivery of a portfolio of studies. In addition to being responsible for the day-to-day operations of all studies, I led Quality Control and Assurance activities including preparing studies for regulatory inspection, representing the sponsor during MHRA interviews and had principal responsibility for the Unit’s multiple project budgets.

Clinical trial management as well as the line management and training of other Trial Managers to ensure that all clinical trial activities were conducted in compliance with the applicable internal processes and external regulatory requirements. Supported the team on an ongoing basis from study set up, during recruitment until closure of study. This role also included training monitors/CRAs and performing accompanied site visits.

Principal sponsor contact and responsible for overseeing the day to day running of study activities including the management of budgets, site selection, regulatory submissions and the management of all external and functional areas, for example relating to IMP supply and central labs. The role also included overseeing data collection, verification and cleaning and being accountable for the accuracy of information in all trial databases and tracking systems.
