Game Management consisted of certain roles in aiding the HWS athletic events run smoothly, an example would be setting up the field for a game or communicating with the refs. Developed and conducted a 10-week summer research project observing Harmful Algal Blooms (HABs) in the Finger Lakes. Specifically, I researched the absorption of phytoplankton using a AGILENT Cary 60 UV-Vis Spectrophotometer documenting the change of chlorophyll levels in phytoplankton. Alongside my specific project I collaborated with my co-workers to deploy mesocosm research in which we manipulated the amounts of phosphorous and nitrogen to test the differences of algae growth throughout the summer. We collected HOBO data as well and would run the collected field data through a fluoroprobe. The data collected from all aspects of the research were processed and then analyzed in team meetings.
