Hi there! I'm Anna, a boundlessly creative, environmentally-conscious, deeply empathetic individual seeking fulfilling career opportunities.I'm a recent graduate of the University of Edinburgh where I earned my MSc in Environment, Culture and Society. This university is a culturally rich and diverse institution that truly fostered my ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and communities. My specific course was interdisciplinary to its core, drawing on expertise across a range of perspectives, including public policy, social and political studies, and literature. As a result, I was provided unique and critical perspectives on current environmental and social issues as well as possible sustainable and equitable futures. This program also equipped me with a high level of equity and justice competencies as I often analyzed environmental issues through sociocultural lenses.I have held multiple leadership positions in which I developed excellent time management and collaboration skills. As Programming Director for my campus television station, I led a 16-person high-functioning team, managing projects and deadlines with great enthusiasm and empathy. I managed contracts with our movie rights distributor to provide content on our streaming service and television channel for over 9,000 students. I also scheduled and uploaded 147 shows and 74 hours of production content onto our viewership platforms that consistently reached over 70% of the student body. As this role was highly collaborative, I gained great team problem-solving and adaptability skills, as well as the ability to nurture innovation and initiative in both myself and my peers. Additionally, I served as a Senior Multimedia Specialist during which I developed exceptional digital literacy and technology skills, including proficiency in Google Suite and Adobe Creative Suite. Within this role I was responsible for producing multimedia content to support digital fundraising, public awareness, and education initiatives. I created educational materials like classroom experiment how-tos and informational environmental videos that are consistently used in over 50 classrooms nationwide. I also worked as Social Media Manager at Dairy Queen where I was responsible for public outreach and communication, as well as the production of creative digital content using Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.I am a highly organized, adaptable, and ambitious person who is eager to learn and ready to work!
