I am a social scientist specializing in research at the intersection of political science, economics, and sociology. My research interests encompass comparative care regimes and the impact of work-family reconciliation policies on employment, fertility, and work-life balance. I particularly focus on the moderating role of cultural and institutional contexts in shaping these impacts.Currently serving as an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Political Sciences and International Relations at the University of Warsaw, I also hold the position of Deputy Head at the Interdisciplinary Center for Labor Market and Family Research (LabFam; visit https://labfam.uw.edu.pl). Additionally, I am a member of the Board of the European Network for Social Policy Analysis (ESPAnet), International Editorial Advisor for Social Policy & Society, and Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Social Policy Issues. I actively contribute to the Anti-Mobbing Committee, the Faculty Council, and the Scientific Council of the Discipline of Political Science and Administration at the University of Warsaw.I am affiliated with international research networks, including the International Network on Leave Policies & Research and the Work and Family Researchers Network. Serving as an expert for the European Commission and the National Science Center in Poland, I evaluate research project proposals. Currently, I lead two international projects: one on the short and long-term effects of COVID-19 policy responses on partners' division of paid and unpaid work and their labor market outcomes (Familydemic; visit https://familydemic.wnpism.uw.edu.pl), and the other on fathers' freedom of choice (not) to use parental leave (CHOICE).
