Graduate of The University of Manchester with a 2:1 BSc (Hons) in Textile Design and Design Management. I am an enthusiastic Fabric Technologist currently working in the automotive sector where I have gained extensive technical textiles knowledge.Throughout my career I have had a proven track record of responsibility, integrity and commitment to company objectives. I also have the ability to organise my time effectively, prioritise tasks, work to strict deadlines, communicate effectively and take initiative to ensure that each job is carried out to the highest standard. I am a creative person with a passion for textiles and I am always observing the latest market trends. I am comfortable working independently or as part of a team and I am always willing to learn and will thrive at any opportunity. Outside of work I have a diverse range of interests that include music, reading, sports, fashion and textiles. Most recently I have enrolled on an evening course for home furnishing textiles. I love to socialise with friends and family too! I have also been extremely fortunate to take the opportunity to travel to many places around the world, and most recently visited South East Asia, Australia, New Zealand and South America. Through my travels I have been able to experience many different cultures gaining many valuable life skills.
