Responsible for the planning and coordinating of food related trade stands, in store sampling and cookery demonstrations in the fresh produce sector. Catering at both large and small scale events ranging from shoot lunches to 18th birthday parties. Passionate about food that reminds you why you love to eat.

Responsible for the development and management of a range of educational and creative projects. Working with local schools exploring the "farm to fork" supply chain, with particular emphasis on culinary herbs and herb farming. Liaising with appropriate educational bodies, such as RHET, to ensure Scotherbs adheres fully to its social responsibilities. Organisation and management of complimentary events such as Open Farm Sunday, in conjunction with LEAF. Work towards the LEAF Marque standard including the carrying out of our Wildlife, Landscape and Sustainability Audit. Continued responsibility for the company’s social media strategy and implementation, as well as PR for relevant projects.

Responsible for representing the UK’s largest Ski Tour Operator in the prestigious resort of Kitzbuhel and ensuring the continued customer satisfaction of an average of 300 weekly arrivals.Generating sales through ski essentials such as lift passes and equipment, as well as through ‘Après’ events and excursionsWorking to, and exceeding, weekly targets set for both customer satisfaction as well as in resort sales

With Newcastle University attracting over 4000 new students yearly it is essential that they are introduced into a new city in a smooth and comfortable manner. The week itself consisted of 5 days and 6 nights worth of integrating activities that allowed the new students to bond and settle into university life. The position required careful management of a budget exceeding £250,000 as well as the obtainment of sponsorship for a number of the events that took place throughout the week. Myself, and 3 others, trained and managed 300 volunteers as well as coordinating the events taking place throughout the week . As well as both obtaining further, and strengthening existing, connections between the Students Union and the local businesses, the week was also successful in exceeding the profit target of £70,000 by nearly 30%.

Working on the Scotherbs Ltd trade stand at numerous shows across Scotland during the summer months, as well as farmers markets throughout the year.Responsible for the promotion of the use of fresh herbs in our diets, as well as the sales of the fresh herbs pesto's and dips, Ariba. Working inside the Tesco stand at the Royal Highland Show and with their cookery demonstration team to encourage the use of fresh herbs in cookery. I have also helped the company with their 'Primary School Project', both teaching the children how to plant their own herbs and how to cook simple dishes using a selection of fresh herbs.
