I graduated summa cum laude from Wake Forest University in 2022 with a B.A. in English with honors and minors in communication and film. At Wake Forest, I was captain and co-president of WFU's Club Equestrian Team and Program Director for our campus radio station, where I provided technical service for our staff of over 40 members and hosted my own show as an on-air DJ.After graduation, I honed my copy writing, editing, and research skills as an editorial intern for the affiliated marketing company Pillar4, where I researched, wrote, and published consumer-oriented reviews for a variety of sleep-related products. I also have experience with professional communication and customer service through my work as an Artists & Repertoire Scout with the music marketing platform Corite, where I identified, reached out to, and pitched services to 25 new artists every week. More recently, I developed my administrative, teaching, and mentorship skills as the International Program Assistant for Wake Forest University in London, England.As of September 2024, I am graduate of the Columbia Publishing Course at the University of Oxford in Oxford, England. I am interested in a professional career in publishing. I like applying my creativity and detail-oriented problem-solving skills to a variety of situations, and I’m curious how book publishing and entertainment culture will continue to evolve in the future.
